Episode 13: An Answer

Written by: Epicstu Wyyvernwriter

“No! absolutely not,” Edward Replied.
Stu folded his arms and sighed, “Look down.” Edward did and saw a world torn apart by war, “Pointless and endless,” Stu continued. “They kill each other for nothing more or less than the color of each other’s skin. It is beyond foolishness.”
“And you want me to kill more of them,” Edward remarked. “How will this solve anything?”
“If nothing is done, they will kill themselves anyway,” Stu replied. “We have a chance to save all six colors. You must take the role of the villain and become their common enemy. Only then will they unite as one.”
“There must be another way,” Edward Argued.
“There is not,” Stu replied.
Stu and Edward glared at one another. Edward knew he had no choice either way. As the Nekolich, Stu could easily control Edward’s entire being and he knew that Stu was right. They will kill themselves if he does nothing. Edward looked Stu directly in the eyes, “as you wish.”
Stu reared back and raised an eyebrow, he did not appreciate Edwards tone. “Remember, this job is only your problem because the four horsemen are no longer here and your brother has a long way to go before he gains their titles.”
“He’s going to enjoy this job,” Edward growled before dropping Zesrial down to the world below.

“Do you have an answer yet?” the Wyyvern of Death asked Aleister. Suddenly the Wyyvern of Death found itself bound by Hubris, the Incense Burners of Famine. Sun and Tzu, the twin Swords of War, fell upon the Wyyvern of Death and held its head down.
Aleister stood up and smiled as Magnus, the Artillery of Strife, mounted over his shoulders and took aim at the Wyyvern of Death, “I do,” he replied, “I would much rather just kill you though, then take your power and move on to the next Wyyvern in my way.” With that, Aleister swung Chastity, the Scythe of Death, down putting an end to the Wyyvern of Death.
Chastity absorbed her Wyyvern’s power, “I am Wyyvern again!” She exclaimed.
A Wyyvern mark which coursed with the raw Wyyvern element, Death, formed over Aleister’s heart. “One down. Famine, you are next. We will need to be airborne if we hope to defeat the Wyyverns of War and Strife,” said Aleister as he swung Hubris back and forth, creating a portal to the Wyyvern of Famine.

“Do you really have an answer to Death’s riddle, Master?” Chastity inquired.
“The judge only needs to know the verdict. Knowing why would be painful and may cause the judge to be biased. Splitting flawless judgment and Omniscience between two individuals is a way to lessen the burden. Not the only way, but a good way,” Aleister replied. “We should hurry, I sense Edward is in need of my hastened return.”

From the clouds above Zesrial landed stabbed blade first into the ground with an earthquake of rolling thunder. She kept her storm up as she waited for Edward. Every color had come to see the strange phenomenon with cameras that broadcasted the event all around the world of Rainbow.
“I will return later to explain more. Good luck,” Stu said to Edward before leaving the realm.
Edward sighed and looked down towards the world he stood above. “They need to hate me more than they hate each other.” Zesrial could hear his words, but before she could tell Edward why… “I know why, though I wish I did not,” Edward said as he dropped down and landed beside Zesrial with the force of a meteor. He gripped Zesrial, slowly pulled her from the ground, and readied her. Then he flicked her up into the air and she came down on a bolt of her lightning upon all six news choppers. Zesrial returned to Edward and he stabbed her into the gut of a Purple. Ripping her from the Purple’s side, Edward swung Zesrial to his right and cut the head off a Red. Then he flipped Zesrial’s blade backward and, after rotating himself 180 degrees, jabbed her pummel into the gut then the face and then the gut again of a Green. Edward cut the disoriented Green in half and lifted a Yellow off the ground by its head. Then he shattered an Orange’s skull with a headbutt and crushed the skull of the Yellow before dropping it. Then Edward leaped over some rubble and grabbed a Blue by the throat and, with his fire, burned and melted a camera and the Blue that was holding it. He choked the life form the Blue he had by the throat and dropped her.
“Edward that’s enough!” Zesrial shouted so only Edward could hear her.
Edward stomped his foot and an earthquake of his fire demolished a hospital. “They need to fear us,” he replied so only Zesrial could hear him. “They need to hate us. All of them, every last one, more than they hate each other.”
“I know,” said Zesrial.
“My judgment tells me they are as insects and vermin, that they should be exterminated.” Edward continued, “all because they pointlessly hate each other. They want to hate so much? We shall give them something worth hating.” From one city to the next and from one color to another, the Wyyvern Knight of Deceit laid waste to Rainbow and its colors. Until the sky lit up and the colors showered him with their nuclear missiles. Edward drank the radiation and explosions and used the power he gained to cloak the entire world in darkness and plunge its people into famine, strife, and death. “Now we wander this broken rainbow and wait for a worthy war.”

“My Lord,” the Demon the Devil had sent returned to its master. “Aleister has gained the title; the Wyvern Knight of Death, my Lord.” The Demon bowed.

“So quickly? Impossible, how?” Satan questioned.

“He ignored the trials of Death, my Lord,” the Demon replied. “He just took it.”

Satan paced back and forth, “he is perfect.” He turned to the Demon, “Continue your task and keep me updated. The Demon left Hell and returned to his task. “Sorry Stu, but Edward will not be enough. Not alone anyway.”
