Hanz Cratel stopped. “How’s the new body, William?” Aleister asked him. The Multiverse became cold and absolute as he said the name.
“Can’t complain, how’s the new job?” asked the Wyyvern of Intellect. Then he moved to avoid the axe that had been swung down towards him. “That bad, huh?”
“Run from it,” Aleister pulled his axe from the ground. William left the realm believing he was safe. “Hide from it,” said Aleister as he thwacked William upside the head with the pommel of his axe knocking him to the ground, “there is no escape from Fate,” he dug his axe deep into the ground next to William’s head. “You denied my Brother something,” he knelt down over William and held out his hand, “give it to me.”

Edward stopped, everything else had. Hell’s flames and Edward’s snow, even the Devil and his demons seemed to be frozen in Time. “The Third, right?” asked Aleister’s voice in Edward’s head.
“Yeah, but it may be a trap,” Edward replied.
“Promises promises, Brother,” replied Aleister as he appeared before Edward.
“How’s Zesrial? Has she completed the job?” asked Edward.
“No, Basilisk can only be defeated by the Living,” Aleister replied.
“Basilisk?” Edward questioned. “What did I miss?”
“Unimportant, I will be bringing the party to you soon enough,” Aleister replied. “Edward, I need you to siege Hell, conquer the Devil, and take that which has been denied you.”
“What have I been denied?” Edward asked.
“You will see,” Aleister replied.
Edward thought for a moment, “I could use an army.”
“Already on its way,” Aleister replied. “I’ve taken Dolan home, I need him there,” then Aleister disappeared
Time unfrozen, Edward found himself face to face with the Devil, “what is the point of all this?” Satan asked Edward.

Time stopped for all except the Devil, “what do you want?” he asked Fate.
“A specific ending,” Fate replied.
“What do you want from me?” the Devil asked rolling his eyes.
“Edward is here to siege Hell, conquer you, and reclaim that which has been denied him,” Aleister replied. “I just want to make sure you have your fun too,” he tossed the Hell Dragon’s soul to the Devil. “Here’s your soul back, Alpha Dragon,” then Aleister disappeared.
Time unfroze, and the Devil found himself face to face with Edward, “what is the point of all this?”
“I have not the slightest idea,” Edward replied.
“Do you honestly believe that you can defeat the armies of Hell all by yourself?” Satan asked.
“Nope,” Edward replied, and then the clanking of iron and steel sounded rhythmically off in the distance behind Edward. His ears twitched, and his eyes widened as he turned around. Rhythmic grunting followed by sudden bagpipes echoed as Edward’s teal snowfire moved closer with every step the marching army Northlandish Fennec Foxes took. Edward watched as they stopped and the first row of knights put their feet forward and unsheathed their short-swords, “Iron!” and with one swift motion all shook their gauntlets causing the loose weights to clank together “Ram!” and Edward’s teal snowfire rushed to him. Half of all Hell was now a tundra of teal snow and fire. Edward returned his attention to the Devil, but he had gone.
Then a foot the size of a small mountain slammed the ground to Edward’s right, then another to his left. Then there was laughter underneath a roar which shook Hell to its core as the other half of Hell blazed with Satan’s fire. The demons of Hell burst forth from behind the Dragon who towered over Edward, “you think you are worthy of Hell,” the Dragon breathed fire upon Edward with a bellowing roar. “You are nothing!” he continued breathing fire as he spoke. “Hell is mine, I forged it these very flames when I was cast out of Heaven. This is my home, and I will not leave it quietly.”
Edward could not move, the fire was too intense, and he could feel the cold leave him. Then he heard it, “Iron!” then he looked, “Ram!” and one thousand Iron Ram headbutts shattering one thousand demon skulls simultaneously. Then the next row of knights leaped over the first and “Iron! Ram!” headbutted the next one thousand demons down to the ground. The first row was already engaged with the next one thousand demons as the third row of knights rolled past the first row and leaped up from the ground with an “Iron!” headbutting through the next one thousand demon’s guts “Ram!” and into the skulls of the next one thousand demons. They fought with his teal snowfire and used it as he did. They fought for him.
“Let your armies advance, once you are gone I will claim them,” said the Dragon as he continued to breathe his eternal fire and flame upon Edward. Edward closed his eyes.
Suddenly a wind began to blow against the Dragons fire as a blizzard formed around him and put his fire out. As the storm cleared the Dragon saw ram’s horns guarding fennec ears. Feet the size of small mountains with massive claws digging into the ground before them. The Wyyvern before him spread his winged forearms and breathed a blizzard of snowfire as teal as his eyes at the Dragon with a bellowing roar. The Wyyvern was Hell, a cold Hell of Edward’s own design. Still recovering from the Hell Wyyvern’s roar, the Dragon was rammed into a mountain, headbutted, picked up, and thrown. The Dragon returned to his feet with a smile on his face, this was the fight he had wanted. The Hell Wyyvern dug into the ground with his massive claws before charging forth. The Dragon jumped to dodge as the Hell Wyyvern ran under him and spread his winged forearms. Shooting into the air, the Hell Wyyvern flew above the dragon and dove head first at him. The Dragon dodged, and the Hell Wyyvern landed horns first into the ground and toppled over. He got up slowly as the Dragon fell to the ground allowing his weight to create an earthquake of fire and stone. The Hell Wyyvern shook himself off and roared at the Dragon who scoffed in reply. A cone of the fires that forged Hell met with a blizzard of the snow that froze it as the Dragon and the Hell Wyyvern locked breaths with bellowing roars.

“I’m told you have a challenge for me,” said Aleister Dimir.
“Good, you are here,” Leon Aventis replied. “Come, I am already set up.”
“How did I know we were going to play chess?” Aleister asked sarcastically as he sat down behind the white pieces.
“Because you are omniscient,” Leon replied as he sat down behind the black pieces. “You like to go first?”
“We can turn the board around if you like,” Aleister replied.
“Not necessary,” Leon replied. “Standard assassin’s bet of your home Realm?”
“You mean for favors? Sure,” Aleister replied and then moved his first piece.
