On wings of Crimson and black Dracula glared at Zesrial. Then it started to snow as a cold front hit the battlefield like a storm. Even Dracula felt the air itself freeze, “What is this teal shit?” he had never seen Hellsnow before.

Vladamir pulled Alexandra from the ground that he had stabbed her blade first into, and immediately the ground became cold, and the sun froze solid. The wolves became as ice sculptures. “they have been frozen,” the Werewolves howled, “but I’m warm.” “Me too,” “toasty.”

“You have all fought with honor, but now our prayers have been answered. All howl for the Kingdom of Heaven!” Greyhiem shouted to his men, and they howled at Zesrial as though she were the full moon. Walking up to Vladamir, Greyhiem put a massive paw-like hand on his shoulder, “My thanks to you as well.”

“No, my thanks to you,” Vladamir replied. The two shook hands, hugged, and patted each other on the back, “It’s good to see you old friend.”

“Likewise,” Greyhiem replied before looking up. “Should we help?”

Vladamir looked around, and he noticed that the Vampires, who had been under Dracula’s control, were now bowing to him, “I do appear to have an army, but we should use this time to our advantage and regroup. The battle has taken quite the toll on my men.”

“Mine as well,” Greyhiem replied as he turned human. “Also, the moon is gone. Come!” he shouted to his men, “let us prepare for the next fight!” The Werewolves, now in their human form, began tending to the wounded and pulling the dead off the battlefield. “This battle was hard won, old friend.”

“Why do I get the feeling that this war has only just begun?” Vladamir replied.

On wings of black feather’s wreathed in her lightning Zesrial glared back at Dracula with a smug smile as she held her left hand out, “that, so-called, Wyyvern Knight you’ve heard so much about?” Before Dracula could answer a blur of frozen teal came from below blindsiding Dracula and sending him to the ground on his back. What appeared to be a brick wall of teal snow landed in front of Dracula as he tried to get back to his feet. The force of the impact sent him back to the ground. Heaven’s wings spread from one end of the now empty battlefield to the other separating Dracula from Vladamir and his men. She picked up the hefty wall of a shield with her left hand dragging it from the trench its impact had made in the ground. “I am Heaven,” Dracula looked into Zesrial’s eyes and saw that she spoke the truth. “This is Hell,” she spun Edward, her Wyyvern Shieldwall of Deceit, as though he weighed nothing and flexed her wings. “We are the Wyyvern Knight of Deceit.”

Dracula levitated back to his feet and brushed some debris from his shoulder, “Good, I was hoping this fight would be interesting.” Immediately his Willpower manifested around him like a force and expanded outward. His Willpower matched the Wyyvern Knight of Deceit’s as it drove Hell’s chill from his bones and pushed Heaven’s lightning back.

Katherine Harris dodged and weaved as Slim’s Devil’sfire dragons came at her from all angles. Her disk of Hellsnow had turned to Blessed water as she took them out one by one. Slim stood in the center of the action unflinchingly against Katherine’s attempts to strick him down. He laughed, “How entertaining, but do you honestly believe that you can defeat me, child?”

Dolan had just finished healing Jessy, Criinos, Roil, and the Nameless, “Go to New Cathedral and tell them what you have seen and heard, “Aleister said to them. “Leave her to her destiny. This is not a request.” Then he turned to Dolan, “Not you. I have another war that will soon require your assistance, Wyyvern Agent.”

Dolan nodded, “where’s the fight?”

Zesrial rode her lightning, smacking Dracula back and forth relentlessly, “hey Dracula, remember pong?”

Dracula caught Heaven, as she came in for another pass, with an aggravated grunt, “I’ve alway’s hated video games,” and threw her down to the ground.

Zesrial landed on her feet sliding back a bit as she drew a mace from behind Edward. All nine of Edward’s six-inch claws spiked the massive primitive-looking club, “did you lose one?” she asked him.

“I’ll bore you with it later,” Edward replied. “Don’t hold back, you know I never did.”

Zesrial spun Edward again, “I don’t plan to,” she flirted.

Suddenly a swarm of bats wreathed in blood red darkness blasted towards them as though they had been shot from a cannon. Zesrial held Edward up and blocked the attack as she flexed her wings and returned to the air, “where’d he go?” All became dark, even with her lightning and Edward’s snow providing light around her, Zesrial could hardly see three feet in front of herself.

Then she heard laughter, “smack me as hard as you can. Turn my own blood against me. It matters not.” A truest horror levitated on wings made of crimson darkness. Heavily plated armor adorned the nightmare as he drew the frozen blood from the wolves to himself for sustenance. “Did you forget who I am?”

Disks made from a metal he had never seen before surrounded Slim creating a dungeon that walled in even his Devil’sfire dragons. “ Am I supposed to be impressed,” Slim laughed. “Let me guess you trained while you were unconscious. Wanna know what I was doing?” Katherine had built the dungeon, but Slim was clever and able to hide from her. Her ear twitched, and she turned around. Before her, puppeted by Slim’s Devil’sfire was her father’s corpse. “Hi daughter,” the Devil’sfire moved Jack’s mouth. Slim taunted, “wanna play catch?” With a simple flick, her father’s limp body flew through the air and landed on Katherine. She screamed and scambled to recover from beneath it. Her father’s dead eyes seemed to stare into her own causing her to freeze from fear and pain. Then all became dark, temperaturelless, and empty around her. Then all was as it had been and Katherine found herself alone with Slim’s laughter echoing, slowly fading, “I’ll see you at New Cathedral, Kid.”

Like blades of steel Dracula used his wings as weapons, something Vampires and Archangels have in common. Every swipe of his massive talon-like hands was followed by a blood red darkness that sounded like screeching bats. Zesrial blocked and dodged as she waited for her opening. Dracula had become enraged, and she would use this to her advantage. Once an opening revealed itself, she swung Edward’s mace and dug his claw’s into Dracula’s chin. Following through she swung him around once and then slammed him down to the ground. Taking to the air, Dracula dodged before Zesrial came down on a bolt of her lightning with her shieldwall for a ground slam that left a crater. Surrounded by blood red darkness Zesrial could not see Dracula, “What do you say we take this fight somewhere more heavenly,” Dracula said laughing as he left the Realm.

Zesrial’s eyes shrunk, and she dropped Edward, mace and shield. “Edward,” she said with a frightened tone, “get help.” Then she left to the Realm, leaving Edward there alone.
