Deceit

I am Heaven. I have existed since the dawn of time, created as a place for my maker to rest. My creator loved all he created, because it was his. Some of his creation still lives in me, those who died believing in him, those who gave everything they had to do the right thing for no other reason than it was the right thing to do, those who showed genuine kindness to others at the expense of their own reputation or wealth without second thought. I love them, because my creator loved them. Before my creator was taken from me he gave me to death so that I could not be taken, but I did not truly know what it was to die until he had gone. I thought I would never love again, then I saw you. You were not born with wealth or reputation. You earned it and when your World needed your help you gave it all up willingly along with your own life. You failed, but you tried because you knew it was the right thing to do. When you awoke you were Hell incarnate. Your people were all but extinct. Even the snow had left your homeland, yet you forgave those who had a hand in your home’s destruction. You stood by their side as though they were your family. You became my Knight and I became your weapon. I always knew you would accomplish great deeds, but I never imagined you would rise from your fiery grave. You defeated Hell and the Devil not because you wanted to live, but because you knew I needed you to. As your power grew, your love began to frighten me. You were a good Fox, but your love for me had turned you jealous and cruel. The wrath you unleashed upon those who would dare even attempt to harm me was unjust. You made mistakes, but you learned from them. You humbled yourself before the Multiverse, asking for forgiveness, and in response it proclaimed you God. When we became a threat to it, you put your faith in another who had made her own mistakes, giving her a second chance. You were good again. You seemed all powerful, but you were not powerful enough, so Fate took me from you and broke you. Yet, before you saved me you saved our Multiverse, because you knew I would want you to and in doing so you became the most powerful being alive. You became all powerful. You are all powerful, but still you stand not for yourself or some selfish goal. You stand for the weak and for the strong who would help them. You stand for the poor and for the rich who would give all they have for them. You stand for the innocent and for the heroes who would stand between them and harm’s way even though they know it is hopeless. You did not create our Multiverse, but you love her and all within her. You bow to me when I should be the one who bows to you. You are God. My God, you love me like a spouse and treat me like a Goddess. I love you, Edward, but I am the only one who can deceive you. Your love for me blinds you and I fear you would no longer love me if you knew that I have. I could never tell you our future, if I did it wouldn’t happen, but I know it all and I will deceive you time and time again for the sake of that future. Pain and suffering await you, but I know you will be victorious. I have faith in this. Never forget, you brought me back to life long before you returned me to the Living. You gave me new hope, when I had lost all faith in such concepts. You are not a perfect God, but a good Fox and I promise, even when it doesn’t seem like it, I am yours forever.
